Astrophotography mode in Pixel 4’s camera lets you take photos of the Milky Way with the tap of a button. This project was a collaboration between the GCAM team and the Pixel Camera team. I was the lead designer on this project and participated in field testing for this feature.

Astrophotography is turned on when the phone detects that it has been placed on a steady surface in Night Sight.
Pixel 4 Camera: Dual Exposure Controls
Dual exposure controls give you the ability to adjust brightness and shadows together in the viewfinder to create a shot that would be hard to get on any other phone. It allows you to create a creative silhouette or light up a backlit portrait shot. I was the lead designer on this project.
